BimaLab Africa is proud to announce the 2nd annual BimaLab Africa Innovation for Resilience Summit and Gralix Insurtech Conference 2025, taking place on 2–3 October 2025 in Lusaka, Zambia, in partnership with the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) and Gralix Zambia. As BimaLab Africa continues its mission to foster inclusive insurance innovation across the continent, this landmark summit will serve as a dynamic platform to convene Africa’s most forward-thinking insurtechs, regulators, insurers, policymakers, investors, funders, and ecosystem enablers.

Attendees can expect an engaging two-day experience filled with high-impact dialogues, collaborative sessions, live demos, and strategic networking aimed at catalyzing partnerships and accelerating the development of a resilient and innovative insurance ecosystem. Rooted in BimaLab Africa’s pan-African accelerator and innovation framework, BimaLab AIR 2025 will spotlight bold ideas, practical solutions, and transformative technologies driving inclusive insurance in Africa.

Building Bridges: Transforming Traditional Insurance by Accelerating Innovation

This year's theme reflects BimaLab Africa’s core mission to catalyze inclusive, tech-driven solutions that address the unique challenges of insurance access and resilience across the continent. By fostering collaboration between regulators, insurers, startups, and innovators, BimaLab bridges the gap between legacy insurance models and the emerging digital economy. This theme underscores the urgency of reimagining insurance through innovation whether through insurtech, data analytics, or user-centric products to better serve underserved populations and enhance systemic resilience. For the BimaLab ecosystem, this summit offers a fertile ground to exchange ideas, showcase scalable solutions, and shape policy conversations. For participants, it’s not just a conference, it’s a platform to unlock partnerships, gain critical insights, and co-create the future of insurance in Africa.
